Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch

The MWDW ensure that the Island's whales, dolphins, porpoises (cetaceans) and basking sharks are looked after through non-invasive research and spreading awareness.

All public sightings of cetaceans and basking sharks are collated and available to view on their website database.

Some of the sea creatures they identify are Harbour Porpoise, Risso's Dolphins,ย Bottlenose Dolphins, Short-beaked common Dolphins, Minke Whales and Basking Sharks.

MWDW relies entirely on public support and grants to run. Become a member for a small fee and receive MWDW's Welcome Pack, Cetacean's Isle of Man ID Guide, Boat Trips and Field Work, Updates, Reduced Entry to Talks/Events and more.

The Cetacean's are usually spotted on the North, East, South and South West Coast of the Isle of Man.
